About Almoguera
A Johannesburg plastics manufacturer that does the whole job in house.
Almoguera Injection & Blow Moulding (Pty) Ltd is a 100% black owned, B‑BBEE Level 1 manufacturer based in Walkerville, Johannesburg. We design plastic products, build the moulds in our own toolroom and run production on our own injection moulding floor, so one team is accountable for your part from the first drawing to the final delivery.
Some of our people bring up to forty years of experience in the plastics industry. That depth is behind the Rack Post Protector, our patented design for warehouse racking, and the rail sleeper pads and clips we supply to the mining sector.

From concept to component
Ten steps, one team, one roof. Every stage happens in our own facility.
Our process
Concept to component
Select a step to see what happens at each stage.
We talk through the part, how it will be used and the quantities you need.
We prepare an initial design and a quotation for tooling and production.
The part and its mould are designed in 3D CAD, with material and wall thickness settled.
You approve the final design before any steel is cut.
The mould is machined in our own CNC toolroom.
Our toolmakers fit, finish and assemble the mould.
The first shot is checked against your specification.
You approve the samples, and we refine the tool if needed.
Every tenth part is checked in the first hour, then parts are checked at random every hour.
Parts are packed and delivered, with the tool kept ready for repeat orders.
Designed in our office. Tooled in our toolroom. Moulded on our floor.

The Rack Post Protector, designed and patented by Almoguera.
A world first design that protects racking uprights against forklift and pallet impact. Moulded in high visibility black and yellow so danger zones are easy to see, with red impact indicators that show when an upright has been hit and should be inspected. Tooled entirely in our own toolroom.
